The OSCC at Mae Sot hospital has been implementing protection services for child and women victim of sexual and physical abuse. The services are available for both Thai and non-Thai children. Children and women who have been sexually abused, to protect women aged 15 and over who have suffered physical or psychological violence and children under 15 and family members who have suffered physical or psychological violence. The OSCC Center at Mae Sot Hospital was opened in collaboration with government departments and local civil society organizations. The OSCC Center is located on the fourth floor of Mae Sot Hospital and provides 24-hour services. The service is available free of charge to anyone affected by violence.

The target groups of people assisted by the Support Center (OSCC) are:

  1. Sexual Assault (SA)
  2. Human Assault (HA)
  3. Child Abuse (CA) includes violent acts against children and subsequent trafficking.

 

Services available at OSCC:

– Physical examination and medical treatment.

-Emotional counseling and social support.

– Regulatory and home visit care.

– Includes protection in a safe place.
