Non-Formal Education in Thailand plays important roles for the out of school youth and adults. In the Kaw Saw Naw Thai out-of-school education system, after completing the first 2 years of the school year, students will pass the 6th grade, and after the 4th years of the school year, student will pass the 9th grade.Those who have attended 6 years will pass 12th grade and can continue their university education. For those who are interested in out-of-school education, the enrollment requirements are as follows.
Qualifications required for applicants to study extramural education
- Must have proof of residence in Thailand.
- Those who want to attend and study must be 16 years old or older.
(Students under the age of 15 who have not completed compulsory education can study at NFE, but must have a referral letter from the education sector.)
Application requirements
- Basic education certificate (original)/ 4 copies
- Applicant’s household list (original)/two copies. If there is no household list, Htaw Law 38 issued by the District Office must be obtained.
- Applicant’s ID Original/two copies
- The applicant must take 4 photographs of 1.5 inch
